We've used the TAATOOLS for years and any issues are handled promptly by
Mr. Sloan. There is no need to extract the source because the objects
are already on your system, it's no different than any of the other
thousands of third party applications.

Subject: TAATOOL Usage in Production Code

In a prior job I also used some of the TAATOOLs commands (the commercial

product) in production jobs. My current boss prefers that we don't code
the TAATOOLs commands directly, but extract the source and add them to
our libraries. I'd much rather use them directly from the TAATOOL
library and I'd like your opinions.

Questions to TAATOOL users:

1) Do you use TAATOOLs directly in PRODUCTION code?

or

2) Do you extract the source and absorb the tool into your own code?
