How many companies block Facebook at the corporate firewall? Mine
does. Yes, it's the 21st century but there are also productivity issues to
consider. If IBM's announcing stuff, shouldn't it be at ibm.com?

Do they block www.youtube.com, too? I'm not much of a facebook user, but it seems to me that the migration of relevant content to social networking sites will be very hard to reverse. I'd predict that it's more likely that your company policies will be reversed.
