Yeah...that's what I'm using...well, the retrieve call stack API anyway. I
have an inactivity monitor that monitors the message queue specified in
system values QINACTITV and QINACTMSGQ. I need to know if an interactive
user is using certain program, and do something different if they are.

What exactly do you mean with active PGM in an inactive job?
For what purpose, just curious?

I think it will be using the List Active Jobs API combined with the
Retrieve Call Stack API, as you alredy said.

If you're looking around in general, maybe looking for locks on the

program might be of use.
