So it should pop up like windows does for my printer, which one do you
want to use? This is a great thread but complete speculation on what IBM
may do. It seems pointless to argue the points of how something might work
with people who also don't know how it might work.

But have fun, as I said this has been an interesting thread.

I believe your handler is supposed to make the decision as to whether or
not you are writing to cgi, palm, xml, etc. Not conditions in the program

itself. Think of Scott's example of a printer writer. Would you rather
just have a write statement in your RPG and the writers determine how to
handle it or would you rather have
if (afpds)
do this
if (ipds)
do that
if (remoteOutputQueue)
do this other thing
Endif

No, all the IF logic should be in the handlers.
