For five years we ran home-grown EDI solution built on a PC in C++,
connecting to 3rd-party VANs. Required hours of user work each week to
manage the processes of transferring documents between us and our
trading partners. But the programmer wrote it without giving it the
capability to scale to multiple trading partners without her personal
involvement, that is, rewriting her custom code.
We are a manufacturing company running our business on JD Edwards
Worldsoftware. After considering numerous commercial EDI solutions, we
went with Inovis TrustedLink and are very glad we did. Inovis
TrustedLink provides seamless integration into our JDE processes.
TrustedLink requires almost ZERO of our EDI user time per month. It
rarely requires any user involvement on our part.
We love it.
