Now I have to figure out how to
1 - Load what is needed on the windows server.
2 - Figure out the parameters to the MOUNT command.  Like, do I use
'server:/directory' or 'server:share'?
3 - Figure out the security aspects.  Meaning, do I need the user id and
password to match between Windows and i?

You must mount after IPL.  I use it against a Linux NAS server, have not
tried windows.  It is best to UNMOUNT as part of the full system save.
There is an option in the go Save 21 menu to un-mount file systems,
change that to Y.

Subject: QNTC alternative

Most times I can get QNTC going.  But, because of some of the anomalies
I
thought I'd look at the alternatives.  I searched the archives and saw
one
posting from Vern on how to use NFS but the wiki referred to there
seemed
to be somewhat vendor dependent on some of the commands.  I think
Scott's
documented this in the past but I'm having a devil of a time finding
that.

So what are the steps?  Load a NSF server on my Windows server, use the
MOUNT command and then it's done?  Do I have to UNMOUNT before full
system
saves?  Does the MOUNT command survive across IPL's or do I have to add
it
in QSTRUP?
