Well the hardware won't die off, IBM now run the AIX system on it. All
they need to kill off would be I OS or is it i OS. I hope that doesn't
happen it is a solid system, It's amazing when you kill off a system
because you built it too well and people don;t upgrade as often because it
just works.

Interesting how a system that is best suited for small shops has its
future threatened by the decisions of large shops. I know people
reject the open source approach as unfeasible and/or unwanted, but at
least that would allow us to survive. The hardware that IBM i runs on
is arguably the best on the market.
