It was one of those remote 5250 to an hmc and not knowing that some clown
dropped the session on the hmc so when I dropped the remote session it was
gone.
Configured 'console takeover' since then but I can see where that would
confuse the heck out of someone who's not into this stuff on a regular
basis.
