Problem may be that File B has multiple records that match a single
record in file A for the given WHERE clause. The DISTINCT below helps to
weed out duplicates. Also, you will need some more gnarly syntax to do
the job.

This works on IBM i (there are more elegant ways to do this on other SQL
processors).

Update MFile A
set( Fielda,fieldb,... ) =
( Select DISTINCT Fielda,fieldb,...
From SFile R
Where A.ZNWHS = R.ZNWHS And
A.ZNZTYP= R.ZNZTYP And ...
)
Where Exists
(Select 1 from SFile R Where A.ZNWHS = R.ZNWHS And
A.ZNZTYP= R.ZNZTYP And ...
)

with NC [if MFile not journaled ]
