hi Michael,

On V5R1, via a Windows mapped drive to /QDLS/PAYROLL... the user could
delete files, after the upgrade and PTF apply the user receives an error
dialog box "file in use".

This used to be a FAQ -- people asked it CONSTANTLY... then everyone learned about the PTFs, installed them, and everything was quiet for years. I'm really surprised to see it resurfacing, but apparently you're upgrading to a very old release.
