than a dozen PC's should probably have more than one listed. We have
three. I use those three addresses on the hmc in "DNS Server Search
Order". I put nothing in "Domain Suffix Search Order".

then you are probably relying on host table entries and should be flogged.
:-) See your network guru and find out what IP addresses to use if there
are none there and add them.
