Same here except we pay cash. Our VP is really good at calculating the exact total cost of ownership over a period of x years.

we just upgraded our 9406-520 to a 8203-e4a our lease/maintenance, etc was
reduced by 50% so now we pay half price for twice the machine...

Getting IBM maintenance on the new machine would be a lot cheaper,
plus you'll have more performance and most likely less issues due to
old age.
