Yeah, that's what I kept saying. But it didn't seem to removed the
shock and appalled looks.

Mainly I guess, because it didn't guarantee ACID by default with the
.NET driver. To be honest, I'd have to agree that IBM decision seems
to be a poor choice. I guess they had too many calls from people
trying to use the OBDC driver with non-journaled files. Personally,
that would have been far down my list of considerations.
