Re: Spool File + Form = PDF - Vendor Response

Hi Gary,

We are a vendor for a new tool called Re-Distribute that converts spool files to Charts, Excel CSV & PDF. It is a web based software, and so reports can be seen in the browser, or automatically distributed via email.

We can manage most of your functional requirements out of the box - the spool file can be coverted to PDF, overlayed with a form with your logos, gridlines etc, and a scanned image can be added at the end with the signature. The only integration that would need to be done would be with the software which captures the driver's signature. Re-Distribute is web based (it does not need to be installed on each PC) and it has been designed to be as easy to use as possible for all end users. Hence I would think that it will be suitable for your client's requirements.

Good Morning All.

I wonder if someone can help me...

I am using your spl2pdf(bvstools) command to convert Spool files to PDF
- works flawless

Now my client wants to combine spool file(text) + form into a PDF
File.

Current process:

1. Print SPLF(text) on a special form(BOL)
2. Driver sign it.
3. Document scanned & saved on a network.

New process should illuminate the manual process with the following:

1. Save SPLF along with a form into a PDF automatically..
2. Bring this form on a screen(tablet PC or laptop) to capture drivers
signature electronically
3. Save it along with the signature.

Does anyone have any idea/suggestions/tools on how to combine SPL File
+ Form Image into 1 PDF File?
