Hi,

Just got an HMC and want to setup LDAP or Kerberos for authentication with Active Directory.

It is version V7R3.4.0.2

I just can't get it working though. Not sure if it is my setup or what.

For the LDAP stuff I enable it, enter the ldap server in ldap://ldap.domain.com in the URI field then change the user attribute to sAMAccountName and for distinguished name tree entered dc=domain,dc=com

Is this all correct for LDAP?

And for Kerberos...

I add the KDC address of 10.10.10.10 and the Realm, domain.com and then a default realm of domain.com.

I am not sure if I have to import a Service Key and if I do I don't quite know how to export from Windows. Can someone shed some light on this?

I have also setup the users for either LDAP or Kerberos and enabled Web Login.

So does the above sound ok?

If not, what is wrong?

Thanks

Nathan
