IBM i configured it as:

Category of device . . . . . . . . : *TAP Device type . . . . . . . . . . . : 3580 Device model . . . . . . . . . . . : 004 Resource name . . . . . . . . . . : TAP01

It is an external SAS drive. Flipping it over, it has 3850 H4S/S4E as the model # on the sticker.

Works great and made the whole back up routine very simple (as it used to be on my other i's)
