Re: Self Decrypting Archive using a Pass Phrase

Arg! I keep running into that SPENDMONEY command. I need to take an
IFS directory and put it in to one big self decrypting archive using a
pass phrase.



The banks I am sending to do not have any encrypting commercial software
and do not want to purchase any. They are using Windows XP as their
desktop.



My boss does not want to have our iSeries reach out to some windows
server to do the packaging and encryption. Even though I found a
command line utility that you can extract with XP with a pass phrase.
(You do not know if it completes successfully on the iSeries with the
run remote command.) We are creating the IFS files with our iSeries and
want the whole job under iSeries control. I can take the IFS directory
and ZIP it already but the encryption part keeps coming up with dead or
expensive ends.



Anyone what to share their solution?
