I'll just chime in briefly on IBM's product. We're looking closely at
IBM's RTCi (Rational Team Concert for IBM i) that seems to offer some
unique features. It's currently at V1, and missing a few pieces at this
release, but V2 is supposed to be out this year. Just another option to
explore.

Frank,

Take a look at Arcad Software. They are the strongest competitor to MKS
these days. They have a very cool new tool called Critical Data
Management
(CDM) - change management for your data.

My advice to people wanting to choose between SLM vendors (Software
Lifecycle Management) is to narrow the field down to the final two or
three
- and if it is a close call, then phone their support team and chat.
These
will be the most important people once you purchase the tools, and if
you
find that you have a better relationship with one or the other, it makes
for
an easier decision.

Hi, my company has never used source code management software and/or a

management system but wants to do so this year.?

How many vendors are there in this space...on the AS400 and if anyone
wants to
share?pro's and con's that'd b/appreciated...or things to watch out
for.???

Thanks, Frank
