The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Turns out it was a combination of a couple things. The responses from
Michael and Vern both contributed to the solution. I specified
USRDTA(*MAX) on the STRCMNTRC command so I could see more of the data, and
then I specified CODE(*ASCII) on the PRTCMNTRC command so I didn't get
gobble-d-gook. Below is my modified sequence of events for the archives.
1) STRCMNTRC CFGOBJ(ETHLIN01) CFGTYPE(*LIN) USRDTA(*MAX)
CMNTRCOPTS(*RMTIPADR) RMTIPADR('216.114.242.89')
2) ...recreate issue...
3) ENDCMNTRC CFGOBJ(ETHLIN01) CFGTYPE(*LIN)
4) PRTCMNTRC CFGOBJ(ETHLIN01) CFGTYPE(*LIN) CODE(*ASCII)
5) DLTCMNTRC CFGOBJ(ETHLIN01) CFGTYPE(*LIN)
Thanks to all that responded,
Aaron Bartell
