RE: Directory under /QNTC disappears

Don't know, but it happens to me regularly with disappearing Windows PCs
after System i boots.

Sometimes none are there, sometimes all are there. And sometimes only the
IXS card is there.

No rhyme or reason that I can see.

I have a client who created a directory under the /QNTC file system to
access a share on a Linux server.

Everything works until they IPL their system over the weekend.

Then the created directory disappears.



When we run the mkdir command again, we can then access the Linux server
and its share.



Why would an IPL eliminate the directory under /QNTC?
