Use QNTC. Share a drive from the iSeries. Have the SQL Server map to the
drive. Use CPYTOIMPF (or roll your own) to create the CSV file on the shared
drive, which would be an IFS directory. A process on the SQL server would
grab the CSV file and do what it needs to do.

I have a Client Access data transfer that grabs a DB2 file on the 400 and
creates a .CSV file on a MS SQL server sitting on our network (overwriting
the existing file).
I manually run the data transfer from a PC connected to the 400 which has
the target SQL server mapped to it.

I need to automate this process but I'm not sure whether I should be
looking at FTP or Remote Commands or other.

Thanks for any help!
