Pardon my ignorance here, but I just can't see a speaker wanting to travel 3
time zones just to speak for a day then travel back the next morning, most
likely incurring 2 overnight expenses and then eating the whole expense...
What am I missing here???

Just a reminder that there is a compromise. A speaker can come on for a day
and speak without registration (I believe this has always been the policy
and is not changing - I am sure one of my fellow directors will correct me
if I am misremembering).
