Got both of those. Got everything, including *AllObj.

I'll check the manual reference.

I'm at v5r4 also.

My user profile has
Special authority . . . . . . . . . . . . : *JOBCTL
*SPLCTL

Perhaps *SPLCTL makes a difference?

I found a v5r1 manual that shows a screen shot (page 49)

I'm doing a WRKSPLF, my default is to have assistance level =
*INTERMEDIATE.  So an F21 to change it to basic and I see the above
screen.

Call stack shows:
Type  Program                  Statement
     QCMD       QSYS                     /0512
     QUICMENU   QSYS                     /00C1

     QWSGET     QSYS                     /0662
     QT3REQIO   QSYS                     /024A

So I don't think it's a custom program...

Tried it both ways.  I don't see F6 either.  When I press F6 anyway, I get an error: Function key not allowed.  I'm at V5R4.

I do a WRKSPLF ASTLVL(*BASIC)
and despite beating F24 I never have an F6.  i 6.1

Rob:

Try it via CHGUSRPRF ASTLVL() rather than for the WRKSPLF command.
