The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
This almost sounds like someone from a PC background who is used to
putting the minimal amount of data on C: and a bulk on Z: or some such
thing.
James spoke volumes about the wasted space because now you have %free of
each asp to worry about.
If you just have to do this, now might be a time to have a library in
front of your library list that has a modified copy of CRTLIB with a new
default for ASP number. Since IBM hardcodes QSYS/CRTLIB you shouldn't
affect most IBM stuff that builds libraries. With that in mind, don't
just modify the CRTLIB in QSYS.
Personally I don't see any advantage to this. More advantage might be
given to keeping just your journal receivers in a separate ASP. Even
then, with mirroring and whatnot the need for this has dropped
dramatically.
