I see 2 other reasons not to use QDLS -

1. Names are limited to the old DOS 8.3 convention
2. You have to be enrolled in the system directory to be able to use it at all - at least, you used to

But a real benchmark test would be good to have.

limitations) I can't seem to find any discussion on performance.
