I would like to jump in here quickly and ask/offer something since you are
discussing HMC.

The IBM usability engineers are putting together a group of customers to
participate in a couple or 3 upcoming telephone conferences regarding HMC.
The key words to qualify are: using power servers, using partitions, &
install & manage HMC. (That is the experience we need.) You will also
learn about planned updates. You must sign a confidentiality agreement in
order to participate.

Is anyone interested in giving your feedback to IBM? If so, contact me. We
need some System i users. I will take your background information and
forward it to the IBM project lead. She will make sure you qualify and
schedule the appointments. (2-3 telephone conferences)

Thanks!

Is there a way to run multiple simultaneous dsp01 console sessions from
a single HMC so that I can work in a restricted state on two LPARS at
the same time remotely over a VPN line?

I tried this with my normal iSeries Access and it seemed to only allow
one at a time.
