My recommendation would be Performance Navigator:
http://www.mpginc.com/perfnav1.htm
You can download it free and pay for it if you decide you need the full
functionality. Meanwhile it will hold years of compressed performance
data for you.

How do I capture the performance data. I have performance tools
installed.

You have to capture performance data from a group of users and multiply
from there.
You cannot just say x times # of users. The workloads vary too much.
For example, suppose you're in a shop that has options like:
Fxx=Process immediately, Fyy=Submit to batch and everyone does Fxx, then
you would have a different load than a shop that figured out a way to
disable Fxx.
Same thing if you did a CHGCMD to disallow RUNQRY to run in an
interactive session.
But, yes, if you do capture the data then there are tools to do
projections.

How do you calculate how much interactive cpw you would need for a
number
of
users?
Is there a link that will help you calculate how much you need?
