Well, getting a fresh copy of the cume is a good start.
Since you have support I would call IBM.

Typical things to check include
DSPPTF
Make sure that you have
IPL source . . . . . . . . . . . . . : ##MACH#B
If it says #A then many ptf's will not apply. Fix that with
PWRDWNSYS OPTION(*CNTRLD) DELAY(120) RESTART(*YES) IPLSRC(B)
with emphasis on the IPLSRC(B).

Have your LIC and your OS CD's (or images) handy in case IBM wants you to
slip install these over top and reapply the cume.

What "resave" of LIC do you have? IBM is all the way up to RS 530-K now.
