No software updates for the system or HMC were done. Not sure how the FSP
is updated. The iSeries is a 9406 model 520. I'm not sure what the 'P'
side is, unless you mean what IBM refers to as the 'permanent' side.
Somewhere along my troubleshooting process I got a C1001020, for which I
followed the IBM manual's procedure of using the paper clip to force a reset
and then did a manual IPL from the 'permanent' side (I think I did it
right).

Are you updating the FSP firmware? What machine are you on and what level of
firmware are you running? Have you tried coming up on the P side?

Subject: I/O Battery cache replacement problems
After powering my system down completely and replacing the cache battery I
am unable to get the system to IPL. I keep getting stuck at D200B077. I've
tried reseating all the cards in their slots but nothing seems to help.
Any ideas? Anyone else every try this?
