Fine Steve, you keep deluding yourself with all of your anti-IBM crap.

The rest of us in the real world will just keep our business running and
competitive with our "old, outdated" iSeries.

Thank you,

It's incredible that anyone would put such a boldfaced lie in their

IBM will have you upgrade your AS/400 to the newly created Power
Systems
family, the merged System p and System i server lines, and totally
rewrite
your applications with their middleware product, WebSphere, which many
developers find complex and expensive.

how is it a lie? RPG has not been enhanced to include Java features
like managed code and classes ( so RPG code cant be modernized ). And
green screen apps take a lot of work to convert to the web. IBM is
actively pushing PHP, which requires a rewrite of your RPG apps. HP
is saying you can use their INFINITE software product to convert your
RPG code to something that uses the Oracle database in place of DB2
and the browser instead of client access.
