Well, Download Director sucks too.

It's telling me that it's 100% downloaded, but only 2 of the 3 files are in the directory, and the counter is still running. I've never had so hard of a time just getting a CUM PTF Package.... Geez.....

As a last resort, I tried to do a SNDPTFORD, I'm getting this stuff:
No record found.
Object QESE003983 type *DTAQ created in library QGPL.
Sending PTF order 0903051416.
PTF -V6R1M0 not ordered.

And finally getting:
PTF number *ONLYPRD-SF99610 *ONLYRLS must be ordered individually.
PTF order complete. No service number assigned.

That's the one I ordered......

I'm starting to lose that warm and fuzzy feeling about this platform....

That's probably what it was, and really the reason I was trying to get
media. We have to work around some of our new security before I can take
the connect route. I can get the service agent working and I was able to
process the SNDPTFORD but have trouble with authentication when trying fix
central with the connect option.

I understand your confusion. I didn't see the size option if you chose
the option to not connect to your system.

Thanks Rob,

That's what I had remembered doing before with the size but I must have
missed it somewhere the last couple times.

It's possible. However IBM will tape them on the back of a turtle in
Boulder and point the beast in your general direction. The days of them
sticking them in an overnighter are gone.

Select: "Connect to my system and continue ordering. Select additional
options below."
Select: "Order all PTFs so they can be applied to multiple systems"
Select: "Download images" -and- "Mail order". When selecting "Download
images" also select "Download images using FTP".
Change: "Maximum size to download using FTP" to 100MB.

Is it still possible to just get DVD/CD s via snail mail? It used to be an
option during the order process but I can't find it anymore.

About how long should I be waiting to get the email that my FTP is ready

I got the email that the request was submitted. I checked the status and
I
see that the status is Shipped. But I haven't received the email with
the
URL and credentials.

Thanks,

Mark
