Is it possible for the NetServer name to be changed automatically? That
is.is there an API or other method, I wonder, that will allow that value to
be changed?
Twice in 2 months, a client's iSeries has "crashed" (not completely but
caused other critical applications to fail) because the NetServer name
mysteriously changed.
I can't figure out how that could happen unless it was done manually by
someone.
However, I'm hoping that this is not the case and that there is a more
benign cause.
Anyone have any thoughts about this?
