Had some fun but gave up.
SELECT SRCDTA, locate('6D40', hex(srcdta)), SRCDTA, substr(SRCDTA,
locate('6D40', hex(srcdta))) FROM foxwell/A1 WHERE hex(srcdta) like
'%6D40%'
Here, I'm looking for the characters '_ ' but what if the characters before or after end with HEX 6 or begin with HEX 0, I will select HEX D4 instead of HEX 6D.
Also, LOCATE won't work like that, of course.

I changed all my "@" to "_" in a source file.
How d'you select character strings containing "_" ?
Is "_" some kind of wild card?
Thanks
