Which system is generating the data? That is the one that should push it to the other one. Now if the i is doing it, then you could do some of the things already described.

We also have a product that lets you read/write/update/delete directly from RPG to any SQL-based remote database system. This would include SQL Server running on a PC, Oracle on a Unix box, whatever. You can call here for more information - ask for me or Richard - 888.rjs.soft

If the PC app is the originator, you want something that can ODBC or OLEDB to the i - SQL Server also has its SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) formerly known as DTS (Data Transformation Services). That can do pretty automatic updates from SQL Server to other database systems, including DB2 on the i.
