If I am understanding your question correctly, it depends on how the
tables are stored in the Win based system.

If they are stored in SQL Server or a PC based system you obviously
cannot FTP them. Also don't see how you could FTP if in some kind of a
binary format.

If they are in SQL Server, you can use DTS or my preference is to use
an RPG service program from Scott Klement to read the tables directly.

If a plain text file, I prefer to read the IFS directly through RPG
and write data to iSeries tables.

All depends on how data is stored in Win system.
