I have been digging through the archives looking up how to do color
overlays. The ultimate goal here is to create a PDF file (with our colored
letterhead) that gets emailed to the customer. I can get black and white to
work, but I haven't seen much in the way of solutions except for the method
mentioned here (http://snipurl.com/9lonl).

Now I don't think it would matter how the PDF is being generated, but we are
currently planning on using Brad's SPLTOOL suite of products.
