The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Nah... have some graphs running as I watch their website chug away...
bandwidth is fine. Can browse numerous other sites in the same way.
I think it is much worse on the V6R1 Infocenter for some reason.

I participated in a Rochester User-Centered Design focus group (I still have
the geeky-looking t-shirt!) about the re-design of the Infocenter in 2003 or
2004, and every one on the panel agreed that the performance of this web
site /sucks/.
Apparently they never took any of our recommendations to heart about getting
rid of all of the Java stuff, which I believe is killing the performance of
the site.
I still mostly use Google to find things on the Infocenter (which is what I
told the Rochester team during the focus group, btw...)
For example:
searching on 'Encrypt data api site:publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter' is
much faster than waiting on the infocenter page to load for using their
search engine.
