The slogan in Chicago in November is "vote early, vote often".

Seriously, get your COMMON dues paid up. You (or your member
representative) won't be allowed to vote if you haven't paid. Voting
will start sometime after the new year. (Bylaws specify xx days before
the meeting.) That means you'll have to be paid up for 2009 to vote.
Dues invoices just went out.

Let's see...COMMON's based in Chicago, so, does that mean I can vote
more than once? :)

From System i Network News Daily ...

"COMMON has announced Bruce "Hoss" Collins, Richard Dolewski, Leo
Lefebvre, Pete Massiello, and Trevor Perry as the slate of candidates
for the 2009 Board of Directors election. The five will vie for three
open positions, and COMMON says you'll hear more from them in the coming
months."
