Excellent comments. Couldn't agree more.

I know personally I've had many a great conversation with Frank over the
years, and not all about i. It sounds like he's planning to continue
being a part of the community and that's a great thing.

Had it not been for his vision, many of our careers would have taken a
far different direction.

How about starting a list of one-liners that tell what he means to the
AS/400, iSeries, i5, etc.etc. community, product and IBM.
