Not going anywhere, Boo Boo.

It's just hard to join any meaningful discussions when there are a couple hundred posts about the same old topics - renaming, rebranding, competing with Windows, and so on. Yeah, I can skip them, but sometimes there are literally pages of these posts.

Not that they aren't important, mind you, but they've got almost nothing to do with the technical aspects of the platform. IMO, the majority of these discussions - for example, *anything* to do with the name of the box - belong in midrange non-tech, especially since they completely swamp any technical discussions. And I'd dearly love to see a separate list for the never-ending comparisons of Windows and i.

But I've little room to talk as I've contributed plenty to the noise part of the signal-to-noise ratio over the years. So I'll just check back in after the furor dies down and try to interact until the *next* time these same topics crop up.
