I loved your email. I think you started something on a positive note - which
is sorely needed.

I think the hard part is that we, as a community, have been so wrapped up in
this wonderful platform for so long, it is not easy to change. When your
world has always been (and for some people it still is) AS/400, then one
name change can be hard to take, let alone three in 20 years. And a new
platform that looks like the old platform - boy, that one hurts. And, the OS
being detached from the hardware - wow, let me have my AS/400 back, please!
