Hello,
User has a mapped drive to an IFS share and when she puts in her
password and user name, nothing happens. How should I go about
troubleshooting this?
What is meant by "nothing happens"?? Does the computer "freeze", where
you can't move the mouse or type on the keyboard? If that's the case,
I'd suggest you have a hardware problem, or a royally messed up device
driver.
Or do you mean that the password dialog re-appears? This typically
means that the remote computer didn't like something about your sign-on.
Have you tried establishing the drive letter via the command-line with
the NET USE utility. It's not as comfortable and graphical and
eye-pleasing, but it gives you more information when it fails.
