The SQL equivalent of multi-format logicals is the SQL UNION.

Assuming that they have the fields defined the same way, you can simply
bring them together with an SQL UNION.

If they are not defined exactly the same you can use the CAST statement to
force your SELECT statement to see the fields from the different files with
the same attributes and still UNION the files together.
