Is there any way to have an RPG program do DNS resolution and turn an name into an IP address and do the reverse and turn an IP address into a name? What I really want to do right now is turn an ip address into a name but the name to IP could be handy also. I could probably use a web service from RPG but would prefer something local on the iSeries like an API into the IBM DNS. I looked but could not find anything on the API side.
