I know we have beat this thing dead and that is part of my problem. I have a client running V5R4 where we had SSL working just fine. When the certs expired adn new certs were given to the client we were never able to get SSL working to this site again. The remote site really wanted us to use SSH, so I PASE and SC1. I set it up to use paired keys and works sometimes. It might work 2 or 3 times and then not for several tries. I did a comm trace with IBM and it shows the remote site tell ing the i5 to reset.

Anyway we now want to try this batch process using a user id/password and see what happens. From what I have read I will need to add EXPECT and TCL to the i5 per Scott Klement's numerous posts on the subject. I'm not a UNIX/AIX/LINUX person but have touched a few system and can follow destructions. Is there a good doc out there we this all spelled out in terms even I can follow? I've looked in the archives now for over an hour and there are lots of bits a pieces, but not enough. I know I've seen the msgs go by with example scripts etc but can't find them now.
