24191806, Mixed-Case Passwords Fail with R510 and Up IBM AS/400 NetServer
and IBM iSeries NetServer at QPWDLVL 0, 1:
o Determine whether a Windows NT/2000/XP (or above) service (for example,
the RUNRMTCMD command or Windows Scheduler) is being used to access a
mapped drive. IBM Support recommends using a UNC path rather than a mapped
drive if a service is being used.
o If the PC is running Windows XP, note that XP is not formally supported
with iSeries NetServer until the R520 operating system. For additional

If the PC is running Microsoft Windows Vista, note that Vista is not
