Um, have you thought about renting a van and moving it yourself? I know a
720 is pretty good size, but when I moved to Texas last year, my 170 went in
the side door of my wife's mini van.

Subject: iSeries Movers Other than IBM

We have a model 720 that we want to move from Florida to Texas. My
business partner got a quote from IBM that was as expected in price, but
totally unexpected in length of move. IBM is quoting 6 business days to
move the machine from the middle of Florida to the middle of Texas.
This is an unacceptable timeframe for a production machine.

I was originally expecting/hoping for a packup/pickup on Friday and an
unpack on the next Monday or Tuesday. Obviously that's not workable via
IBM.

So, I'm looking for a different vendor that is more realistic in their
times to move. Any recommendations?

Bill
