Have you checked the price on a used 720 vs. the price to move your current 720. Short time moves are expensive and used 720's are cheap.

subject: iSeries Movers Other than IBM

We have a model 720 that we want to move from Florida to Texas. My
business partner got a quote from IBM that was as expected in price, but
totally unexpected in length of move. IBM is quoting 6 business days to
move the machine from the middle of Florida to the middle of Texas.
This is an unacceptable timeframe for a production machine.

I was originally expecting/hoping for a packup/pickup on Friday and an
unpack on the next Monday or Tuesday. Obviously that's not workable via
IBM.

So, I'm looking for a different vendor that is more realistic in their
times to move. Any recommendations?

Bill
