To All;

In a prior life I was a Systems Engineer for a mainframe vendor. One of the
basic tenets learned then is the 90% of all problems exist between the chair
and the keyboard. Another basic tenet was that user errors caused by sheer
stupidity are seldom repeated when the user realizes they caused the problem
themselves.

Such is the case here.

The cause of the problem? I forgot to change the "to" library when
compiling the file definition. My only excuse is this is maybe the 4th time
I've compiled a file definition.

Thanks to all who responded.

Use the right file and not some other one named the same but in a
different library. Remember, WRKQRY has little respect for *LIBL.
