the AIX system crash analyzer person tells me that VIOS 1.5.2.1, fix
pack 11.1 is needed to prevent the problems I have been having when
activating an IBM i partition on the JS12 blade.

all speculation on my part as to what caused the crash, but it looks
like something entirely in AIX, and not IBM i accessing VIOS
incorrectly.
